Last updated June 26, 2026

Important Notice

If you have a severe food allergy or intolerance, please read all product descriptions carefully and consult the manufacturer's packaging before consuming any product.

About Our Products

Lowlands House curates specialty food products from Europe — many of which are produced in facilities that handle a wide range of ingredients, including common allergens.

We do our best to display allergen information for each product on its listing page. However, manufacturers may change ingredients or production methods without notice. Always defer to the physical product label.

Common Allergens in Our Catalog

Many products in our assortment contain or may contain traces of:

  • Gluten (wheat, rye, barley)
  • Milk and dairy products
  • Eggs
  • Tree nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, cashews, and others)
  • Peanuts
  • Soy
  • Sesame
  • Fish and shellfish (less common, but present in select pantry items)

Cross-Contamination

Most of our products are manufactured in Europe in facilities that also process other allergen-containing products. If cross-contamination is a concern, please review the product's packaging advisory labeling (e.g., 'may contain traces of nuts').

Allergen Information on Product Listings

Where available, each product page on our site displays allergen badges sourced from manufacturer data. These are provided for convenience only and should not be relied upon exclusively for medical dietary decisions.
